Christilot
Hanson Boylen to Represent Canada at Aachen CDIO3*
Ottawa, ON
--- Canada will be represented by Christilot Hanson Boylen at
the upcoming Aachen CDIO3* being held August 23-28 in Germany.
Upon invitation
by the Aachen CDIO3* organizing committee, Canada was asked to
send two applications for consideration, of which the organizing
committee accepted Boylen.
Boylen, who
has represented Canada at Olympic Games, Pan American Games and
World Championships, will be competing in the Grand Prix division
of the CDIO3* with Gachino. Boylen has had much European success
this year with the 11-year-old black Baden Württenberg gelding
Gachino (Gardez x Chinatown), who is owned by Mrs. Hermosilla.
Boylen will
also be competing in the small tour with Don Valentino, a 10-year-old
Hanoverian owned by Alec Murray and Compositor Investments Inc.
of Canada. Don Valentinos accomplishments this year include
strong placings at the CDI3* in Hagen, Germany.
Considered
one of the most prestigious dressage shows world-wide, the Aachen
CDIO3* will be held at the same facilities where the World Equestrian
Games are to take place in 2006.
Dressage Canada,
as a committee of Equine Canada, is the National governing body
for Dressage in Canada.
